Terms and Conditions (AGB)

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (AGB) apply to all services, appointment bookings, and sales of products and gift cards handled by Seoul Room skincare studio by Cosima Märki (hereinafter referred to as the "Studio"). By booking an appointment or purchasing a service/product, these conditions are deemed to be accepted in full.

 

2. Appointments and Cancellations (Cancellation Policy)

• Binding Nature: Scheduled appointments (made online, by phone, via email, or in person) are binding.

   

• Free Cancellation: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the agreed appointment time.

   

• Late Cancellation / No-Show: If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or if the client fails to show up for the agreed appointment, the full treatment price (100%) will be charged, or any redeemed gift card will be forfeited accordingly.

   

• Late Arrivals: In the event of a late arrival, the treatment time will be shortened accordingly if subsequent appointments are affected. The full price of the booked treatment remains due.

   

3. Prices and Payment Terms

• The prices listed on the website or in the Studio at the time of booking or treatment apply. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF).

   

• Payment is due immediately following the treatment in the Studio (e.g., in cash, via TWINT, debit/credit card) or, in the case of online bookings, via the provided online payment methods.

   

4. Gift Cards

• Gift cards can be redeemed for services or products at the Studio.

   

• Cash payouts of gift cards (including remaining balances) are excluded.

   

• Gift cards are valid from the date of issue for the period specified on the card.

   

5. Health Conditions and Duty to Cooperate

• The client is obliged to inform the Studio prior to the start of the treatment about any existing health conditions, allergies, skin diseases, pregnancy, or medication intake that could contraindicate a treatment.

   

• In the event of incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client, the Studio accepts no liability for any consequential damage or adverse reactions.

   

6. Limitation of Liability

• The Studio performs all treatments to the best of its knowledge and belief and in accordance with current professional standards.

   

• Any liability for damages or adverse reactions arising from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client is expressly disclaimed.

   

• The Studio assumes no liability for the loss of or damage to personal belongings or clothing brought into the Studio, except in cases of gross negligence or willful intent on the part of the Studio.

   

7. Products and Returns

• Opened or used cosmetic products are excluded from exchange and return for hygienic reasons.

   

• Unopened items in their original packaging may be exchanged or returned within 14 days upon presentation of the proof of purchase. Store credit will be issued; cash refunds are excluded.

   

8. Data Protection

The processing of personal data in connection with appointments and treatments is kept strictly confidential and complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / DSG). Detailed information can be found in our Privacy Policy.

 

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

• Swiss law applies exclusively.

   

• The place of performance and exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions is Basel, Switzerland.
